Carrier ID Forum
Hosted by Intelsat

November 18, 2009,
Intelsat Headquarters
Washington, DC

SUIRG, with the support and assistance of the satellite industry, is sponsoring several forums addressing video, data and VSAT services for the purpose of developing globally acceptable specifications to add carrier identification information within each type of transmit carrier. The purpose of the identification information is to assist in quickly identifying the geo-location, equipment type and owners of a carrier that is actively interfering with other communications carriers. To ensure the specification addresses each concern the forum and working groups consist of key members from satellite operators, equipment vendors, users, and decoding companies; there will be periodic forum meetings to access the program progress.

Below are links to the agenda, minutes, and presentations from the first Carrier ID Forum, held on November 18, 2009 at Intelsate Headquarters in Washington, D.C.
