No liability is accepted for any consequences of its use! Note that it is in two halves. You need to manually derive the downlink eirp from the uplink pfd based on a knowledge of the uplink and downlink beam patterns, the actual transponder gain setting and input and output back off operating point. The calculator works fine for real links if you know, and input, the correct parameters. Rubbish in = rubbish out!
